O Teatro Anatômico da Terra ,2014 foi um teatro anatômico circular e subterrâneo com base em um teatro do século XVI em Pádua, Itália e construído na Bahia, Brasil. Feito para observar a dissecação de um corpo humano morto, o Teatro Anatómico foi inicialmente concebido por um teólogo e anatomista, e conceituado como um auditório íngreme para permitir um máximo de pessoas para reunir e assistir o processo de dissecação.
No teatro construído para Bahia, o antropomorfismo relacionados em anteriores realizadas em tais teatros anatômicos metamorfoseia em uma tradução contemporânea, onde a ênfase é colocada sobre o uso da cor e da profundidade do palco design- na realidade o corpo morto é apenas inferido. A área do palco também dramatizações como uma projeção arqueológico e geológico, em que o fracasso e o sucesso de seguir o plano de matriz para o teatro é em igual operação. Desta forma, o trabalho tem sido construído como um “outra” arquitetura; a intenção do teatro é de criar um ponto de vista coletivo para descoberta (de órgãos interiores e de estados) se mistura com as realidades locais com cenas intermináveis para observar (mudanças climática), sem começo e nem fim.
Earth Anatomical Theater, 2014 was a circular and subterranean anatomical theater based on a sixteenth- century theater in Padua, Italy and constructed in Bahia, Brazil. Built for observing the dissection of a dead human body, the Anatomical Theater was first designed by a theologist and anatomist, and conceptualized as a steep auditorium to allow for a maximum of people to gather and watch the process of dissection.
In the theater constructed for Bahia, the anthropomorphism related to previous acts undertaken at such anatomical theaters metamorphoses into a contemporary translation, where emphasis is placed on the use of color and the profundity of the stage design— the real, dead body is only inferred. The offstage area also role-plays as an archeological and geological projection, in which the failure and success of following the matrix plan for the theater is in equal operation. In this way the work has been built as an “other” architecture; the intention of the theater’s design to create a collective point of view for discovery (of interior organs and states) mixes with the actualities of the site as a place of endless scenes to observe (changes in the weather), without beginning or end.
